Facilitate Transformational Cultural Change By Getting Facilitation Certification

A new year is already well underway and it’s the perfect time to make sure the organization(s) you work for, head up, or advise, are well-positioned to achieve their goals for 2020. We find that C-suite individuals, business owners, talent & organizational development, human resources, and business consultants are often charged with helping the organizations for which they are employed on a permanent or consulting/contract basis achieve the following universal organizational objectives:

  • Create transformational organizational culture, therefore, one where employees work well within their specific teams/departments, as well as with employees from other organizational teams and departments. Ultimately, employees work harmoniously and proactively together to achieve a common goal, due to effective interactions and a focus on achieving results.
  • Cause an organization to be a higher-functioning, more productive one, therefore, one where employees work and communicate effectively with each other vs. competing with other members of their team or with employees from other departments. Instead of operating in silos, departments are proactive about keeping each other informed, involved, and focused on team and organizational results.
  • Increase employee engagement, and therefore, employee retention, as a by-product of achieving the above two goals. Let’s face it. Employees are far more motivated to remain at an organization if it’s one with effective, respectful communications where everyone’s opinion is valued, sought out and/or considered. Whether cross-functional or within a team, too many and too frequent difficult conversations, communications, and interactions, often contribute to an employee’s departure from an organization.

The Benefits to Your Organization of Having an In-house Employee Become Certified

You can take a first step toward situating your employer or your client(s) well to achieve the goals above by becoming certified as an Everything DiSC® Workplace® Facilitator. Whether you refer to it as a course, class, seminar, workshop or certification, participants in/attendees of the Everything DiSC® Workplace® Training and Assessment Program learn how to communicate effectively and build stronger, productive, and effective relationships with all levels of co-workers at an organization. The aforementioned is accomplished thru use of the third-generation of DiSC® assessment —a research-validated learning model— to create a highly personalized learner experience that is workplace-specific. Benefits to Program participants include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Awareness of their own and others’ styles
  • Understand the styles of others
  • Receive tools to strategize their interaction with others
  • Increase effectiveness with building trust and productive relationships for greater impact and success

While we offer Everything DiSC® Workplace® Facilitator Certification to both external consultants and individuals working in-house at an organization who are responsible for professional development, positive company culture creation, and/or employee engagement/retention, we have found it to be particularly beneficial to an organization when the Everything DiSC® Workplace® Training and Assessment Program is facilitated by an in-house employee of their organization. Being in an internal vs. external role, in-house employees vs. external consultants are more in touch with various dynamics within an organization, within a team/department of an organization, or among two or more teams that aren’t working effectively together. As they facilitate the training in-question, they are able to keep in mind what they know and understand about the organization and its teams, and cite examples during training and/or successfully navigate “mine fields” that may exist at the organization.

Pick The Certification Option That Works Best For Your Learning Style and Schedule

To meet the differing needs of those who want to become certified to facilitate the Everything DiSC® Workplace® Training and Assessment Program, we offer both in-person certification and online certification. However, you should note that we are currently offering our brand new, in-person certification at a lower cost than online. One of the many other benefits of attending our in-person certification is the opportunity to meet and build a local network of other program facilitators. And, our new certification program offers an ideal blend of in-person and self-directed learning. The course consists of self-paced, pre-work and two days in person learning, followed by a final exam.

If our online certification program better suits your learning style and schedule, you will still enjoy the benefits of self-paced and facilitated learning associated with our three-session program.
